Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a leading transport company who, due to continued growth, are actively seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join their team at their Goole location.



Transport Planner Job Overview



Working with customers, suppliers, drivers, and in-house customer service desks to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Prioritising workload, route planning, and conducting driver briefings and debriefings.

Demonstrating strong organisational skills in planning schedules, journeys, and loads.

Maintaining the in-house computerised system and possessing the skills to use Excel spreadsheets.

Working in line with VOSA and compliance standards.

Monitoring compliance and working with drivers and the compliance team to eliminate infringements. Transport Planner Job Requirements



Knowledge and experience of O'Licence requirements and compliance.

Experience from pallet networks and general haulage

Commericial Acumen

Excellent communication skills.

Strong IT and TMS system knowledge.

Excellent organisation and time management skills - essential.

Knowledge of Tanker or ADR Transport - highly desirable. Transport Planner Salary & Benefits



Salary: £35k - £45k - Depending on Experience

Monday - Friday (08:00 - 17:00).

22 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
