Container Transport Planner



Location: Felixstowe, UK



Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE)



Are you an experience Transport Planner with a background in Container Transport? Are you looking to develop your career for an established and highly regarded International Freight Forwarder? This role could be excellent for you!



Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)

To schedule and plan day-to-day customer deliveries.

Liaise with new and existing customers.

Meet transport legislation commitment.

Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with drivers.

Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.Requirements:



Previous Transport Planning Experience.

Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder/Road Transport Company.

Previous experience with Container operations/transport.

IT and analytical skills.

High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Knowledge of the WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph and Transport legislation.

Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
