Fleet & Transport Planner \n\nLocation: Sunderland\n\nHours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00 \n\nSalary: £28,000\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a highly organised and proactive Fleet & Transport Planner join a team in Sunderland. This is a pivotal role ensuring our nationwide fleet operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with UK transport and ADR regulations. Acting as the key link between drivers, hauliers, sales, and customer service, you’ll keep operations moving while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer care.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPlan and coordinate fleet maintenance, servicing, inspections, and repairs.\n\t\nEnsure full compliance with MOT, ADR, VOSA, and safety standards.\n\t\nMonitor and manage fleet-related costs, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency.\n\t\nPlan and schedule transport across the UK for bulk liquids and packaged materials.\n\t\nLiaise daily with sales and customer service teams to meet client requirements.\n\t\nSupport drivers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to health & safety procedures.\n\t\nMonitor customer tanks and arrange timely deliveries or collections.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nStrong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\n\t\nPrevious experience in fleet management, transport planning, or logistics.\n\t\nGood working knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules and UK transport legislation.\n\t\nIT proficiency, ideally including SAP and Microsoft Excel.\n\t\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to perform under pressure.\n\nTo be considered for this role click "apply" and submit a copy of your up to date CV
