About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing construction business based in Leominster. This is a fantastic chance for someone looking to build a career in quantity surveying within a supportive, dynamic team delivering a variety of construction projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities

Assisting senior surveyors in the preparation of tender and contract documents.

Measuring and estimating materials, labour and equipment costs.
*
Supporting the procurement process including issuing enquiries, analysing subcontractor quotes and placing orders.
*
Helping manage project budgets, monitor costs, and prepare financial reports.
*
Carrying out site visits and attending progress meetings.
*
Supporting the valuation of completed work and arranging payments.
*
Maintaining records and assisting with the preparation of final accounts.
What We’re Looking For

A keen interest in construction and commercial management.
*
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
*
Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
*
Good communication and teamwork skills.
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
*
A relevant qualification (or currently studying towards one) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
