Established in 2016 by owner Brad Prososki, our mission is to provide high-quality trailer components, exceptional repair services, and a professional customer experience for individuals, small businesses, and large commercial clients.
We operate from our large facility at 1291 E 54th Avenue, where we maintain over 20,000 square feet of trailer parts, accessories, and service bays. Our team works hard to ensure every customer gets the right part, expert service, and honest advice. Whether it’s a simple brake repair or a full trailer rebuild, we approach every job with professionalism and pride.
We are now seeking a dedicated Trailer Parts & Service Technician to join our team and grow their career in the trailer service industry.
Job Summary
The Trailer Parts & Service Technician will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and installing parts for a wide range of trailers, including utility, cargo, flatbed, and specialty trailers. This role involves both hands-on technical work and direct interaction with customers. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Service Duties

Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on light- and medium-duty trailers.

Repair or replace axles, bearings, brakes, suspensions, lighting systems, tires, and couplers.

Install new parts and accessories according to specifications and safety standards.

Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and wiring.

Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
Customer Interaction

Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Help customers identify and select correct parts for their specific trailers.

Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and timelines.

Communicate clearly with customers about service progress and completion.
Workplace Organization

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Follow all company policies, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.
Team Collaboration

Work closely with other technicians, the parts counter, and management to ensure efficiency.

Participate in ongoing training sessions and stay current with trailer technology and repair techniques.

Support other team members as needed to achieve company goals.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational certification ).

Minimum 1 year of experience in trailer repair, automotive service, or mechanical maintenance ( but not required).

Ability to read and understand repair manuals, diagrams, and part schematics.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Basic understanding of trailer wiring, brakes, and suspension systems.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Skills

Experience working with trailer manufacturers or dealerships.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety inspection procedures.

Welding or fabrication experience.

Forklift operation certification.

Customer service or retail experience related to auto or trailer parts.
