Experience required…


Essential:

● Demonstratable skills and experience in Highways and/or Traffic design and at the more Senior level project management and team leadership.

● Areas of expertise may include: Major (Trunk Road network) and Minor (Local Authority) Highway Design, Traffic Management, Traffic Calming, Active Travel, Signing and Lining, Road Safety, Traffic Regulation Orders and Public Rights of Way.

● Competency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Road Traffic Regulation Act, Manual for Streets and other local authority standards.

● Relevant experience in design software such as CAD/KeySign & KeyLine where appropriate.

● Knowledge of Active Travel Design

● Public or private sector experience.

● Full UK driving license

● Ability to attend an office or site 2-3 days per week




Desirable:

● Educated to HNC / HND level in a Civil Engineering discipline or equivalent.

● Hold an appropriate professional qualification
