Job Title: Town Planner\n\nLocation: Birmingham (Hybrid working)\n\nSalary: Up to £45,000 DOE + benefits\n\nThe Role\n\nWe are seeking a Town Planner or a Senior Town Planner with strategic land experience in the Birmingham area. This town planning position is with a town planning consultancy with multiple offices across the UK. As the successful Town Planner you’ll be working on site promotion, planning applications and appeals on a wide variety of projects.\n\nThe Company\n\nThis company is a town planning consultancy with multiple offices across the UK working with public and private sector clients on various projects in sectors such as retail, leisure, residential, regeneration and strategic land.
Currently there are 50 people in business and they are continuing to grow the team across all offices.\n\nThe role will require\n\n * Manage the planning applications\n\n * Give sound advice to clients\n\n * Keep up to date with local planning policies\n\n * Research local plans\n\n * Attend Planning committee meetings\n\n * Assists team members\n\n * Create and maintain progress reports\n\nDesired Skills & Qualifications\n\n * Degree in Town Planning\n\n * Chartered or working towards\n\n * Experience in strategic land\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\nSalary & Benefits\n\n * Up to £45,000 DOE\n\n * Hybrid working\n\n * Bonus\n\n * Enhanced maternity & paternity pay\n\n * Life insurance\n\n * Company pension scheme\n\nKeen to hear about other opportunities like this?
