Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading planning consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their growing team in Exeter.

The Role

As a Town Planner, you will:



Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and appraisals



Provide professional planning advice to clients, stakeholders, and local authorities



Undertake site appraisals and policy reviews



Contribute to the preparation of planning statements and supporting documents



Work collaboratively with colleagues across planning and development teams



About You



RTPI accredited degree or master's in Town Planning or a related discipline



Ideally working towards or already MRTPI chartered status



1-3 years of professional planning experience (private or public sector)



Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills



A motivated and proactive attitude with a genuine passion for planning
