Mechanical Assembler / Toolmaker£16.00ph - £18.00phDays only, Monday - Friday12 Week Temporary - Permanent OpportunityMetalis are currently working with a manufacturing company based in Wakefield who are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Assembler / Toolmaker to join the team.Duties & Responsibilities: Manufacture, maintain and repair tooling, dies, jigs and fixturesInterpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsCarry out fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenanceOperate workshop machinery including CNC, milling, grinding and drilling equipmentEnsure tooling meets quality and production requirementsSupport continuous improvement and minimise production downtimeRequirements: Previous Toolmaking or Mechanical Assembly experienceAbility to read engineering drawingsStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of machining, tooling and manufacturing processesHours & Salary:£16.00ph - £18.00ph (dependent on experience)Days only, Monday - Friday12 Week Temporary - PermanentThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer offering a stable, days-based role and long-term career development.Interested?
