Fabricator / Welder – Permanent Role 



We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join a well-established engineering company. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with excellent pay, regular day shifts, and long-term stability.



Location: Tamworth

Salary: £16.00 per hour + benefits

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Hours:



Monday to Thursday: 7.00 am – 3.30 pm



Friday: 7.00 am – 2.00 pm



The Role



As a Fabricator / Welder, you’ll be responsible for:



Fabricating and welding steel, aluminium, and stainless components



TIG welding (stainless pipework essential; aluminium an advantage)



Preparing and finishing materials before welding (cutting, marking, cleaning, deburring)



Reading engineering drawings to create accurate cutting and bolt lists



Carrying out quality checks and signing off completed work



Operating CNC machinery, press brake, and guillotine



Loading/unloading deliveries and maintaining a clean, safe workshop



Supporting continuous improvement by suggesting process/machine efficiency's



About You

Minimum 3 years’ TIG welding experience



CNC experience plus sheet metal and machine maintenance background



High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy



Forklift licence would be a bonus, but not essential
