We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing company based near the Redditch area. This is a great opportunity to work within a specialist manufacturing environment, producing high-quality components and assemblies for the aerospace industry.

Job Description

\n
• Carry out manual and orbital TIG welding of tube assemblies, brackets and components.

\n

• Work from engineering drawings, data cards, process specifications and standard work instructions.

\n

• Set up, operate, maintain and programme TIG and orbital welding equipment.

\n

• Inspect finished components using equipment including shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers and micrometres.

\n

• Ensure all work meets the required quality and aerospace manufacturing standards.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

\n

\n
• Previous experience working as a TIG Welder, ideally within an aerospace or regulated precision manufacturing environment.

\n

• Confident reading and working from engineering drawings.

\n

• Experience welding a variety of materials, including stainless steel, titanium, aluminium and/or Inconel.

\n

• Experience using inspection and measurement equipment.

\n
