OVERVIEW

Randstad Staffing is HIRING NOW for a Direct Hire TIG Welder to use Manual Welding skills to manufacture weldments to defined specifications, workmanship standards and production schedule.

Shift: 2nd

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 3:30pm to 12am

Pay: $25-30 per hour + 5% shift differential

Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time Employment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and set up necessary tools and equipment for welding jobs
• Arrange parts for welding and staging processes
• Perform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan (including documentation of results)
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Lead
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence
• Uphold site efficiency standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years in a metal manufacturing setting
• Pass AWS certifications for TIG welding steel and aluminum
• Possess a basic understanding of welding symbols, print tolerances and quality measuring equipment
• Meet or exceed company PPM level standards by consistently producing quality work
• Obtain and maintain weld certifications in two or more welding processes specific to employee’s location
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and interpret prints and work orders
