We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder with code welding experience to join our high-performance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding for aerospace components, ensuring the highest quality standards and compliance with aerospace specifications. In this role you'd be welding components for some of the most advanced aerospace platforms globally.

Key Responsibilities - TIG Welder:

  • Perform TIG welding on aerospace-grade materials with precision and adherence to code welding standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
  • Ensure welds meet quality standards, including strength and appearance requirements.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of welding activities and quality records.

Qualifications - TIG Welder:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in welding .
  • TIG welding experience in an aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Welder with code welding qualifications (AWS D17.1 or equivalent).
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and understanding welding specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Familiarity with aerospace materials, including aluminum and titanium alloys.
  • Ability to pass welding tests and security clearances as required.

Skills - TIG Welder:

  • Experience with MIG welding and other welding techniques.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems.
  • Previous experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
