We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Threading Machine Operator to join our dynamic steel fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating threading machinery and working with steel or other metal products in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating threading equipment, producing quality threaded components according to specification and maintaining a clean and organized work area. We will trail an operator with experience.

Duties:

Operate threading machines and related fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

Set up machines and adjust tooling, dies, speeds, and feeds as needed.

Read and understand work orders, drawings, measurements, and specifications.

Thread steel pipe, bar, anchor bolts, stud bolts or other metal components according to job requirements.

Inspect finished parts using measuring tools.

Make machine adjustments to maintain product quality and dimensional accuracy.

Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication and basic maintenance.

Safely handle and move steel and fabrication components using appropriate equipment.

Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.

Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.

Perform other duties related to steel fabrication and machine operation as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating threading machinery, metalworking equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery .

Experience working with steel or other metal products .

Ability to read a tape measure and accurately interpret measurements.

Ability to read basic shop drawings, work orders, and production specifications.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to make basic machine adjustments.

Ability to safely lift, move, and work with steel and metal components.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.

Previous steel fabrication or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and work for extended periods.

Ability to lift and move components with appropriated assistance or equipment.

Ability to work in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.

Must be able to follow required protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures.
