/ Thesis - Process Simulation in Berlin
Job Description
Your mission \n Why do an with us? \n You don’t want to run simulations just for slides – you want your work to influence real decisions? At C1 Green Chemicals, your models directly support process concepts that move from equations to pilot‑scale reality.
What you build here has measurable impact on how sustainable chemical processes are designed. About us \n Cl Green Chemicals AG develops and scales new chemical processes from lab to pilot scale. Our teams span catalysis, synthesis, engineering and technical operations.
Simulation plays a key role in deciding which technologies are built, tested and scaled – not as theory, but as a practical engineering tool. \n What you will do \n \n Build and run steady‑state and/or dynamic process simulations \n Integrate and adapt kinetic sub‑models within existing simulation environments \n Support early‑stage technical assessments of process concepts \n Assist with CAPEX/OPEX estimations using existing templates and assumptions \n Document assumptions, calculation paths and results in a clear, reproducible way \n Develop small programming tools or scripts for data handling, analysis or reporting \n Collaborate closely with engineering and lab teams – your results will be used further \n \n \n \n Your profile \n \n Must‑haves \n \n Enrolled in a Master’s program (chemical engineering, process engineering or similar) \n Mandatory as required by your study regulations \n Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, reaction engineering/kinetics and separations \n Hands‑on experience with process simulation software (e.g. Aspen Plus/HYSYS, gPROMS) \n Pytho
