YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Development of innovative concepts by combining manufacturing and measurement technologies embedding fiber optic sensor technology in additively manufactured components Multi-physical simulation / analytical calculation of the design Realization and construction of demonstrators (prototypes) Testing of components / systems in the laboratory in Graz Evaluation of laboratory and simulation results in the field YOUR PROFILE: Ongoing studies in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Production Engineering or similar Basic knowledge of sensor technologies and additive manufacturing Mastery of at least one 3D CAD software Basic knowledge of electrical drive systems and CFD advantageous Structured and independent way of working with willingness to learn Good knowledge of German and English For laboratory activities: Presence in Graz required WE OFFER: You can write your thesis independently and receive professional guidance and support from our experienced employees.
