  About the Role
  We are seeking a Thermal Spray Set-Up Technician to support our thermal spray team in preparing parts for dimensional restoration. This is an excellent entry point into a specialized trade, and we will provide full on-the-job training (OJT) through a combination of computer-based modules and hands-on instruction.
  Candidates with welding, fabrication, or industrial experience are encouraged to apply — no previous thermal spray experience is required.
• Responsibilities
  • Prepare turbine engine components for thermal spray coating operations
  • Apply masking to components to protect surfaces during in-process operations
  • Conduct surface preparation using grit blasting equipment and techniques
  • Operate sandblasting equipment for cleaning and coating preparation
  • Follow established procedures for masking, blasting, and handling a variety of materials
  • Support thermal spray technicians during coating applications
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Training ProvidedThrough our in-house training program, the successful candidate will learn:
  • Fundamentals of thermal spraying techniques, including plasma, arc, and combustion flame methods
  • Proper handling and use of masking materials and blasting equipment
  • Process control, safety standards, and quality requirements for thermal spray operations
• Qualifications
  • Welding, metalworking, or industrial manufacturing experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized processes
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
