Job Summary

Supermicro is seeking an experience Solution Engineer who can play a pivotal role in implementing, and supporting advanced storage solutions tailored to meet the needs of enterprise, AI, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. This role involves working closely with product management to provide technical expertise in pre-sales consultations, solution architecture, and post-sales deployment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Include the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

Support server design team and liquid cooling team by leading efforts to secure data center projects and drive revenue growth

Lead the design, deployment, and delivery of liquid cooled HPC and AI supercomputing projects, ensuring alignment with performance, quality, and timeline expectations

Develop and integrate innovative solutions by collaborating with design, testing, and engineering teams

Engage in pre-sales activities, working closely with customers to provide creative solutions that meet their specific needs

Managed data center projects from conception to delivery, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Understand system design requirements for High Performance Computing and AI workloads to drive platform configuration guides for x86 and ARM servers

Work closely with sales and marketing teams to promote new solutions and drive business development

Assist the manager with daily assignments and contribute to strategic initiatives within the team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree )

4+ years of experience in data center solutions, HPC, AI infrastructure, or related fields

In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure technologies, including Cloud, HPC, and AI/ML environments

Understanding networks, network topology design, and optimization

Understanding liquid cooling systems and advanced thermal management solutions for high-density environments is a plus

Hands-on experience in designing and deploying GPU clusters is a plus

Experience with using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters and logic analyzers

Solid understanding of data center power and cooling systems

Proven experience in building large-scale data center infrastructure from design to deployment

Strong ability to bridge technical and business requirements, translating engineering innovations into business value

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Self-driven, proactive, and capable of leading complex projects under tight deadlines

Salary Range

$73,000 - $120,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
