Position: Test Field Technician
Site / Location: DE – Brilon
Description
Synthesises customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of the test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system-level evaluations.

• Working hours: 2-shift system
  • AM: 06:00–13:30
  • PM: 13:30–21:00
  • Monday to Friday
• Flexible working hours (shifts may vary; TBC with manager)

Your Responsibilities

• Routine, type, and special electrical testing of dry-type and traction transformers in accordance with national and international standards
• Preparation of the required test reports
• Analysis and testing of returned goods
• Participation in customer acceptance testing (also in English)
• Final mechanical inspection of the finished product

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in an electrical engineering field, e.g., State-certified Electrical Engineering Assistant
• Ability to work at heights
• Good cooperation and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
• Flexibility and a meticulous work ethic
• German mandatory + good written and spoken English skills
