Job DescriptionJob Description

The Test Engineering creates/implements test procedures, programs, fixtures that verify that a product operates as designed and provides assistance and support to the Test Engineering department

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in building test harnesses and test cables from schematics, performing hand soldering and crimping as required
  • Assist in building test panels from electrical schematics
  • Troubleshoots and repairs broken test cables and fixtures
  • Assists test engineering with creating detailed test procedures for operations
  • Updates test procedures as required
  • Assists with improving the quality and efficiency of testing processes
  • Assists test engineering with creating detailed equipment files for all test fixtures and test equipment
  • Assists test engineering with test software development
  • Assists test engineering with creating assembly drawings for all test fixtures and test stations
  • Completes special engineering projects and other assigned tasks
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS in Test, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Excellent Problem Solving, Statistical and Analytical skills
  • Excellent computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to navigate technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
