As a key member of our software test team, you will focus on test planning, design, execution, and automation. You will work on building and maintaining a high-performance data analytics pipeline in Amazon Web Services. The ideal candidate must be self-directed, a fast learner, and flexible enough to work on new technologies as well as legacy components. You will advocate for quality and integrity and collaborate with developers and other teams to ensure data validity, customer privacy, and overall functionality.Advocate for quality and test coverage on the protection of privacy, security, and data integrity.Collaborate with your project team to determine test requirements.Provide leadership in agile scrum and planning processes.Conduct exploratory testing for individual components or features, identifying and reporting defects.Build, deploy, and maintain a test infrastructure to verify the data analytics pipeline in AWS.Build reusable test code and libraries for future use.Design, execute, and report benchmarks on stress, performance, scalability, and other non-functional tests.Work with other test teams and test leaders to innovate and improve team performance.Dedication to software testing as a craft.Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.5+ years of work experience in software testing.Some experience as a test lead or prime on a major product.Familiarity with terminal scripting and working directly in CLI.Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, and SQS.Familiarity with AWS CLI is an asset.Experience with CI/CD workflow tools (Teamcity, Jenkins).Experience with adding to and maintaining automated tests using scripting languages (Robot Framework, Python).Experience with databases (SQL, AWS Athena), ideally working with large data.Data analytical testing experience is an asset.
