With our strong presence in the region and our talented team, we are well-positioned to deliver innovative solutions that improve the safety and reliability of vehicles.Job Summary:Our test automation engineers design and develop automated test systems to validate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) software. In this role, you will be involved in the development of test automation framework, perform pre-release software check-outs, enhance existing test framework, and assist software development teams with debugging software bugs.Your Role:Design and develop automated test framework using PythonCreate, enhance, and maintain automated test jobs using Continuous Testing (CT) frameworkComply with Automotive SPICE (Software Performance Improvement and Capability dEtermination) and Functional Safety processesEnhance and maintain build systems used by software developersProvide assistance to development of Continuous Integration/ Continuous Development/ Continuous Test (CI/ CD/ CT) frameworkWork closely with other software, systems, and test engineering teamsPlan and coordinate test development activities with other global sitesYour Background:Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study)At least 6 months of work experience in Automotive Industry or Consumer ElectronicsEmbedded software experienceBi-lingual – proficient in English speaking/reading/writingInterpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challengeCross functional interests, ambitious and self-driven. Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguityAbility to effectively manage several projects at onceStrong soft skills: skilled networking creation, influencing skills, constantly learning, positive and ownership profileNice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):Experience with programming languages like C, C++ and PythonExperience with Visual Studio, Eclipse or similar IDEsExperience with low level drivers - SPI, I2C, and/or Ethernet driversExperience with testing embedded SW using debuggersExperience with vehicle protocols - CAN, LIN, Flex Ray, Ethernet, and corresponding testing tools like CANoeFamiliarity with Jira, Confluence, Git, or similar toolsFamiliarity with Automotive SPICE and ISO-26262Why join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
