We are looking for an experienced operations professional to manage and coordinate all activities at a busy transportation facility. This position requires a balance of hands-on leadership, operational oversight, and process improvement to keep people, equipment, and schedules working seamlessly together.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations, while leading a team that delivers reliable service to customers every day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support drivers, dispatchers, and administrative personnel to meet service, cost, and safety objectives.
• Monitor routing, scheduling, and equipment utilization to improve efficiency and reduce delays.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable transportation and workplace safety standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs, ensuring quality service and timely communication.
• Analyze operational data to identify issues, recommend changes, and implement improvements.
• Conduct on-site evaluations, ride-alongs, and inspections to confirm adherence to company standards.
• Oversee the upkeep of facilities, vehicles, and other resources to maintain operational readiness.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations, with a proven track record in leadership.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in communication and team coordination.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
