Tendering Specialist

Location: Equatorial Guinea (Residential) – Remote initially
Duration: 12 months contract (renewable)

An Oil & Gas Operator is seeking an experienced Tendering Specialist to join its Commercial Department. This is a key position responsible for coordinating, executing and supporting the full tendering and contracting cycle across major upstream and operational projects.
This role is ideal for a senior contracting professional looking to take ownership of high-value tender processes, supplier negotiation and contract administration within a growing Oil & Gas organisation.

Remote Start Option - The successful candidate will start remotely for the first 1–2 months while work permits and residency processes are finalised. Full onboarding begins immediately, with a planned December remote start date available for the right candidate.
Once visas are issued, the position transitions to a residential role in Equatorial Guinea with full expat benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate tender planning, tender documents, procedures and evaluation.
• Manage the full tender cycle: preparation, issuance, clarification, evaluation and award.
• Source vendors, maintain bidder lists and analyse proposals and terms.
• Support commercial negotiations for short- and long-term service contracts.
• Prepare bid evaluation reports and contract award recommendations.
• Administer post-award contracts, monitor KPI performance and track deliverables.
• Ensure strict compliance with procurement and contracting standards.
• Support continuous improvement of contracting frameworks and processes.
• Work with commercial and technical teams to deliver value and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 10–12+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas contracting, tendering or supply chain.
• Strong background in tender preparation, evaluation and contract negotiation.
• Experience with technical service contracts for upstream or offshore operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
