Tendering Engineer/Estimator

Overview:

Adept Resourcing is working on behalf of a well-established engineering firm to recruit an Estimator/ Tendering Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen to contribute to the successful delivery of engineering bids and tenders.



Key Responsibilities:



Lead the preparation, development, and submission of tenders for engineering projects



Interpret technical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate bids



Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical information



Ensure bids are compliant, competitive, and submitted on time



Assist in contract administration and handover to project delivery teams



Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures



Support continuous improvement of tendering processes



Key Requirements:



Proven experience in tendering, estimating, or bid engineering within an industrial or technical environment



Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications



Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills



Proficient with relevant software (e.g., CAD, Excel)



Highly organised with good time management skills



Salary of up to £40k
