Pay: $21-$25/hr
Location: Elgin, IL (on-site)
Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm
Employment Type: Temporary Position

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive temporary Office Assistant to support our procurement team. This role involves high-volume data management, invoice processing, and purchase order creation. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker, highly organized, and proficient in Excel, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently

• Perform high-volume data entry with attention to detail

• Create and manage purchase orders

• Utilize advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and other formulas to analyze and manage data

• Assist with procurement-related reporting and record keeping

• Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed

• Use Microsoft Access for data management (helpful but not required)

Qualifications:

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

• Experience with high-volume data entry and invoice processing

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Access is a plus, but not required
