Description:
We’re seeking a detail‑oriented temporary specialist with advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of AI tools to support an HSE risk‑assessment project. You will convert risk assessments into high‑quality data, automate repetitive tasks, and enable faster, data‑driven risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily QC and validation (completeness, duplicate detection, valid value checks); correct simple issues and escalate ambiguous cases.
  • Apply AI tools (e.g., prompt‑based summarization, text classification, natural tagging, basic model outputs) to extract, classify, and validate free‑text observations and generate candidate risk tags.
  • Automate routine data transformations and reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness.
  • Provide daily status updates and document exceptions, rules applied, and decisions made for auditability.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel expertise: Power Query, PivotTables, Power Pivot, advanced formulas (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), data cleaning methods; basic macro/VBA .
  • Practical experience using AI or automation tools to process text or structured data (chat‑based assistants, RPA basics, low‑code ML tools, or scripting for NLP tasks).
  • Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable coordinating with HSE staff to clarify entries.
  • Ability to work on‑site at Hardy/Richey and complete required site onboarding.

:

  • Prior exposure to HSE data, risk assessment terminology, or corrective‑action workflows.
  •  Experience creating AI‑assisted classification or summarization pipelines for operational text.
  • Familiarity with dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau) or ability to hand off clean extracts for visualization.

Must pass background and drug screen.
