Telecommunications Technician / CT Licensed Electrician (E1/E2) – North Stonington, CT

Pay: $35/hr with Telecommunications License | $45/hr with Journeyman Electrician License
Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Projects

Staffworks Group has an immediate opening in North Stonington, Connecticut for experienced Licensed Telecommunications Technicians or Connecticut E1/E2 Electricians with telecom experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test voice, data, coaxial, control, and fiber optic cables
• Prepare and follow blueprints/sketches for telecom and electrical layouts
• Install cable supports, trays, sleeves, and fire-stopping materials
• Set up and secure racks, cabinets, and network switches
• Conduct TIA/EIA Level II testing with cable analyzer
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of telecom systems
• Work in confined spaces and follow strict safety protocols
• Complete required paperwork, including daily reports, time sheets, and material requests
• Maintain compliance with OSHA 10 safety standards
• Participate in daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and site housekeeping

Qualifications

• Valid CT Telecommunications Technician License or CT E1/E2 Electrical License
• 3–5 years of telecom or electrical field experience, trade school, or apprenticeship
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, conduit, and fiber optic installatio
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• OSHA 10 certification required
