Associate Project Manager – Small Cell - Houston, TX (Hybrid: Monday & Friday WFH; Tuesday–Thursday in office)
Overview:
The Associate Project Manager will provide support across multiple project managers, focusing on managing project capital pass-through budgets and ensuring all financials are aligned with customer contracts, timelines, and organizational policies. This role requires strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to drive project success.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer contracts, scope of work, goals, and project/financial timelines.
- Act as SME in customer deployment meetings, maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Ensure accurate and reportable data is maintained in both customer and internal systems.
- Monitor and report financial status against commitments, keeping stakeholders informed.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and work order modifications.
- Resolve conflicts and escalate issues through appropriate internal channels.
- Uphold company code of conduct policies and procedures in all work.

Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience / Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Experience managing project budgets or related financial responsibilities.
- Strong MS Excel skills (working with large datasets and organizing data).
- Customer-facing project management experience .
Other Skills / Abilities:
- Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret financial metrics.
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of public right-of-way project deployment .
