Technical System Manager Functional Electronics (f/m/x)
As Technical System Manager Functional Electric, you will be responsible for coordinating interfaces for electrical and automation supplies for cold rolling mills and supporting sales during project planning (including the creation of parts of the technical specifications). Your tasks will include:
- Managing technical systems (e.g., fluid systems) with focus on functions and interfaces to electrical and automation systems
- Supporting project management through Technical System Management for Functional Electrical Systems and participating in meetings with customers, subcontractors, and consortium members
- Creation of basic engineering documents, including coordination with mechanical engineering, fluid technology, and civil engineering
- e.g. motor and component lists, electromechanical functional descriptions, or safety documents
- Participation in system integration tests, installation, and commissioning
You hold a degree in electrical engineering with expertise in power supply, drives, motors, sensors, and automation systems. The following are also desirable:
- Ability to read and understand electrical circuit diagrams, fluid diagrams, and mechanical engineering drawings
- Ideally, knowledge of cold rolling mills and their automation and drive systems
- Commitment, assertiveness, negotiation skills, and teamwork, as well as a strong awareness of costs and pricing
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and German
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business worldwide
