Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Technical Support Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and product support to customers, dealers, and service centers. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding product operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to generators, inverters, and other products.

• Provide step-by-step support for product setup, operation, and repair.

• Document customer interactions and technical issues accurately in the support system.

• Collaborate with engineering and warranty teams to escalate complex issues.

• Assist with warranty claims, parts requests, and service center coordination.

• Stay current on product updates, manuals, and technical bulletins.

• Educate customers and dealers on proper product use, care, and preventative maintenance.

• Contribute to the development of FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree .

• 1–3 years of technical support or customer service experience, preferably in power equipment, mechanical, or electrical products.

• Strong knowledge of small engines, generators, or related equipment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers in a clear, patient manner.

• Proficiency with computer systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
