Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Representative with a strong background in networking, server management, and hardware implementation. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience deploying and supporting business-critical infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, servers, and wireless systems. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates exceptional troubleshooting skills, and can deliver reliable support in both onsite and remote scenarios.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Network and Server Deployment:
  • Install and configure servers, network switches, firewalls, access points, racks, and related infrastructure hardware.
  • Implement and manage LAN/WAN environments, including VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and routing protocols.
  • Set up wireless networks (standard and mesh with roaming capabilities), ensuring optimal coverage and security.
  • System Administration & Support:
  • Perform server management, including setup, monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting (Windows Server ).
  • Configure networked printers, shared resources, and manage file/print servers.
  • Administer backup solutions (cloud and local), ensuring integrity, recovery, and continuity.
  • Install and support desktop hardware (PCs, laptops, printers) and peripheral devices.
  • Ticketing & Workflow Management:
  • Complete and document service tickets with accuracy, escalating or transferring as needed.
  • Prioritize and resolve inbound technical requests professionally and efficiently.
  • Handle multiple tickets and calls simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills & Capabilities:
  • Proficient in software deployment, system imaging, data transfers, and partition management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365, Exchange/Outlook, Windows OS, recovery tools, and remote support software (TeamViewer, LogMeIn, ConnectWise).
  • Skilled in Ethernet cable wiring (Cat5/6), RJ45 terminations, and cable testing.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • 5–8 years of IT experience in networking, server implementation, and remote support (preferably within an MSP or structured IT environment).
  • Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience in a technical setting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing firewalls, switches, and servers in production environments.
  • 10+ years working with Windows operating systems (installation, recovery, and troubleshooting).
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong problem-solving and project management mindset.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, juggle multiple priorities, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Charismatic and customer-focused with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.

Compensation:
