Cargas is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to support customers using our proprietary software, Cargas Energy. In this role, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer issues by debugging SQL, JavaScript, and .NET code. This position blends technical problem-solving with a strong focus on delivering high-quality customer care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate responses to customer support tickets.

  • Debug SQL procedures, JavaScript, and .NET code to identify and resolve issues.

  • Troubleshoot and monitor SQL Server performance and partner with internal teams to recommend improvements.

  • Identify opportunities within the codebase to enhance stability and improve the customer experience.

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base, including scripts, common fixes, and how-to documentation.

  • Apply customer insights and awareness of emerging technologies to recommend product enhancements to the Product Development team.

Experience We Value

  • Bachelor’s degree (or a combination of education and relevant experience).

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience working with SQL, .NET, JavaScript, databases, or related applications.

  • Customer-facing or technical support experience.

  • Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and use available resources to find effective solutions.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong listening, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
