Technical Solutions Architect
We are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Architect with a strong background in Microsoft Azure and modern DevOps practices. You'll play a key role in designing secure, scalable, and resilient solutions, working alongside engineering and platform teams in a fast-paced, cloud-first environment.
You'll be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of cloud-based solutions, helping to deliver high-impact digital transformation initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of technical solutions on Azure, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business needs.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to drive cloud- best practices, automation, and scalability.
- Own architecture artefacts such as high-level designs, cloud patterns, and integration diagrams.
- Ensure security, compliance, and performance are Embedded into all solution designs.
- Act as a technical advisor and point of escalation for engineers and stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or Technical Architect within a Microsoft Azure environment.
- Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and API Management.
- Deep understanding of cloud security, and access management (Azure AD), and governance (Azure Policy, Blueprints).
- Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architectures, and container technologies (Docker, AKS).
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Microsoft certifications (eg Azure Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience in enterprise-scale environments or regulated industries.
- Exposure to hybrid cloud models, Legacy system integration, and cloud migrations.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics.
