About the Role

For our German branch in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for an experienced Technical Solution Design Manager (m/f/d) to join us full-time (permanent contract) as soon as possible. This role is essential for leading the technical team of M-Cube Germany in the development of digital solutions combining hardware and software, supporting the sales process with technical expertise both before and after the sale. The position requires a solutions-oriented personality with strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with international teams and external partners. Excellent management skills are crucial, as the person must be able to drive solutions, proactively gather information, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and confidently interact with customers and suppliers.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Team and Project Managers in consulting and implementing technical requests/projects in Retail, Hospitality, Gastronomy, Automotive, Quick Service Restaurants, etc.
  • Main focus areas include Digital Signage systems, video walls, LED walls, sensor technologies, and audio systems.
  • Accompany the Sales Team on visits to existing and potential new customers.
  • Proactively coordinate and allocate resources as needed to meet project goals.
  • Provide on-site support during important first or pilot installations.
  • Carry out simple audio/video technology installations yourself or assist/instruct technician teams.
  • Create technical documentation, drawings, schematics, or 2D/3D visualizations using AutoCAD or comparable tools.
  • Prepare installation guides for external technicians/electricians.
  • Align with involved teams (equipment, software development, IT, content, accounting, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, and the UK.
  • Report to the Business Director Germany and the Group Pre-Sales & Solution Design Director.


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree or commercial training in audiovisual media technology, media informatics, sound engineering, technical planning, electrical engineering, media and lighting technology, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the AV industry or with an LED manufacturer/system integrator.
  • Strong technical expertise combined with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized, able to manage ongoing projects, responsibilities, and deadlines independently.
  • Proactivity, team spirit, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Willingness to travel within the D-A-CH region.
  • Fluent English skills (spoken and written).
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office).


Required Skills

  • Confident use of AutoCAD or similar systems (Visio, SolidWorks, etc.) for creating and editing DWG files.
  • Experience with digital and interactive audio/video hardware and software components.
  • Basic network knowledge (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Ability to create technical drawings, diagrams, and presentations.
