Technical Services Manager\nSwindon – Hybrid Working (2–3 Days On Site)\nUp to £55,000 + Benefits\nMonday to Friday | 40 Hours per Week\n\nWe are currently recruiting for a Technical Services Manager to join a major FM and estates contract operating within a critical environment.\nThis is not a traditional hard FM delivery role. The successful candidate will work within an integrated service environment supporting the coordination, performance, and assurance of multiple FM contractors and suppliers across a large estate portfolio.\n\nThe role would suit someone from an engineering, technical FM, building services, or maintenance background who understands contractor management, reactive works, compliance, and asset performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n• Support the delivery and performance of hard FM services across the estate\n• Act as a key link between contractors, suppliers, and client-side FM teams\n• Oversee reactive works and ensure contractors are attending sites and completing works within agreed timeframes\n• Support remote sites with contractor coordination, access arrangements, and work progression\n• Review quotes, monitor job progress, and track service delivery performance\n• Assist with asset management, asset schedules, and technical reporting\n• Analyse service and asset data to identify trends and operational improvements\n• Support technical audits, compliance reviews, and contractor performance management\n• Work closely with multiple FM Managers across the contract to support operational delivery\n\nRequirements:\n• Engineering, technical, or time-served maintenance background\n• Experience within hard FM, estates, facilities maintenance, or building services\n• Strong contractor and supplier management experience\n• Understanding of reactive maintenance and PPM delivery\n• Experience using CAFM or asset management systems\n• Strong communication and coordination skills\n• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment\n\nAdditional Information:\n• Hybrid working – 2 to 3 days per week based in Swindon\n• Security clearance required \n• Excellent long-term opportunity within a stable and high-profile contract environment\n• Competitive benefits package included\n\nIf you would be interested in hearing more, please apply or get in touch for a confidential discussion
