Southern Region – M4 Corridor – Remote Working

Monday to Friday 40 Hours per Week



Technical Sales Manager required for an international manufacturing company who design, manufacture and market capital plant equipment used within manufacturing, processing and construction industries. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable business who are truly specialists in their field and can offer long term development opportunities.



This role would suit a candidate with experience working with capital equipment within industries such as automotive, aerospace, sheet metal fabrication, HVAC or similar. This role would suit an experienced sales professional and also engineers looking for an opportunity within sales.



The Technical Sales Manager will be based from home and can expect to spend approximately 75% of their time visiting customers, supporting the sales of capital equipment with a value between £20,000 to £1.5m. You will consult with customers to understand their requirements and identify suitable solutions from the company’s product range, which will be tailored to each order.



The Technical Sales Manager Role:



Identifying and securing new orders of capital equipment at client sites across the Southern region

Following up on leads from the company’s service teams and inbound enquiries

Visiting existing customers and growing sales orders

75% Customer based visits

Visiting company headquarters in Switzerland 2-3 days per month to support with customer product demonstrations



The Technical Sales Manager Candidate:



Experience working with capital equipment

Experience in a technical sales role or an engineer looking to move into a sales position
