Technical Sales Engineer – Scotland & Ireland\n\nWhite Label Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading cold rolled steel manufacturing business to recruit a Technical Sales professional to cover Scotland and Ireland.\n\nBenefits & Package\n\n• Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience)\n• Discretionary bonus scheme\n• Company car or car allowance\n• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\n• Pension scheme (3% employer / 5% employee contribution)\n• Fully remote role with flexible travel\n\nThe Role – Technical Sales\n\nThis Technical Sales role focuses on developing new business while maintaining and growing existing customers across Scotland and Ireland.\n\nThe position is fully remote, with travel required for:\n• Customer meetings (in person and via Microsoft Teams)\n• Factory-based sales meetings\n• Preparation of estimates and quotations\n\nYou will also be responsible for ensuring sales are delivered in full and that payments are received in line with agreed terms.\n\nThe Technical Sales function specialises in rolled section sales and ancillary system components, supplying the purlin, mezzanine, and SFS infill walling markets. Additional services include laser cutting, pressing, and fabrication.\n\nCore Competencies & Experience\n\n• Minimum 5 years’ sales experience within the cold rolled steel sector\n• Strong technical understanding of steel framed buildings, purlin and rail systems, mezzanine floors, and SFS infill systems\n• Excellent time and territory management\n• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely\n• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills\n• Resilient and adaptable sales approach\n\nUseful Skills & Qualifications\n\nSoftware: Dynamics 365, CRM systems, SharePoint, Microsoft Office\nDesirable: Engineering HNC or degree\nEssential: Full UK driving licence
