Job Description
A great opportunity for a technical sales engineer has arisen for a leading manufacturing company who supply to various industries, including aerospace, oil & gas and defence.\n\nJob Description:\n\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.\nUnderstand customer requirements and translate them into manufacturable solutions.\nPrepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.\nCollaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed solutions.\nIdentify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.\nProvide accurate quotations and lead negotiations through to contract closure.\nStay current with industry trends, materials, and machining technologies.\nRepresent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetingsBeneficial Skills / Qualifications: \n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in sales or engineering within the machining or CNC manufacturing industry.\nStrong technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, materials, and tolerances.\nProven track record of successful sales and customer relationship management.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.\nProficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.\nEngineering degree or equivalent technical qualification . \nExperience working with clients in aerospace, oil & gas, or defense sectors.\nFamiliarity with ISO standards and quality assurance processes.\nSelf-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and business development.\nWillingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally
