Technical Sales EngineerThis is new business sales with the brakes off, for a genuine hunter who wants to get out and win.Join a rapidly growing pump services group as a Technical Sales Engineer and drive its next phase of growth.As a Technical Sales Engineer you will drive new business for an award-winning pump services business with over thirty years behind it, now part of a rapidly growing group. This is a hunter role, plain and simple. You will get out there, open doors, win new clients and grow a customer base of your own across planned maintenance, repairs, and servicing.

Because it is technical sales, you will get under the bonnet of a client's needs, understand the problem and recommend the right solution. The opportunity is significant. You will be selling for a respected, expanding brand with the engineering, workshop and emergency capability to deliver everything you win, and your success will help shape how far and how fast the business grows.Job ResponsibilitiesWinning new clients and building a customer base across commercial and industrial businessesProactively prospecting and generating your own pipeline of new pump service and repair opportunitiesVisiting client sites to assess pump systems and identify the right solutionSelling the full range of pump services, including planned maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and servicePreparing and presenting quotes, proposals and tenders that win work and protect marginNegotiating and closing new contracts and one-off project worksWorking closely with operations and the workshop to scope jobs accurately and deliver on what you sellTurning first jobs into ongoing maintenance contracts and long-term relationshipsKeeping the CRM accurate and your pipeline forecast honestRepresenting an award-winning brand professionally across your patchSkills and ExperienceA proven track record of winning new business in a technical or engineering sales roleA genuine hunter mentality, with the drive to get out, win new business and grow a customer baseExperience selling pump services, or services within wastewater, drainage, HVAC, M&E or building servicesEnough technical understanding to assess a pump system and recommend the right solutionA solid grasp of estimating, quoting and tendering for service-based engineering workStrong commercial judgement, with a clear understanding of margin and riskThe confidence to work autonomously while collaborating closely with operations and the workshopExperience using CRM and job management systemsA full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel across your patchPay and BenefitsSalary up to £50,000 baseProven achievable OTE £100,000+Hybrid working modelMonday to Friday working hoursCompany pension schemeCompany laptop and mobile phoneCompany CarThe backing of an award-winning brand and a rapidly growing groupA field-based role with the autonomy to run your own patchTPBN1_UKTJ
