We’re hiring an Entry-Level Technical Sales Engineer to support our growing U.S. sales operations. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate with strong communication skills, technical curiosity, and a passion for customer success. You’ll serve as the bridge between engineering and sales, working closely with clients to recommend solutions and support the full sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in identifying customer needs and proposing Altona's chemical solutions.
· Participate in technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
· Provide first-level support on formulation requirements, technical documentation, and regulatory questions.
· Coordinate with technical, regulatory, and logistics teams to ensure product viability and timely delivery.
· Manage CRM updates and assist in generating sales reports and forecasts.
· Represent Altona at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
· Travel up to 30% within the U.S. as needed.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
· 0–2 years of experience in technical sales, customer support, or engineering.
· Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

· Fluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
· Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000/year (depending on experience)
• Performance Bonus: Up to $20,000/year
• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $90,000 – $100,000/year
