We're recruiting a Sales Engineer to join our client's expanding team. This role is perfect for someone who can combine technical knowledge with commercial awareness to identify opportunities and deliver high-value solutions to customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within engineering and utility sectors
- Provide technical consultations and solutions tailored to each client's operational needs
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical proposals, including product specifications and system benefits
- Manage the full sales cycle - from technical qualification and scoping to negotiation and closing deals
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met accurately and efficiently
- Keep up to date with industry regulations, technologies, and trends to maintain a competitive edge
What We're Looking For:
- A background in engineering, utilities, mechanical, or electrical systems is essential
- Strong technical understanding of products and systems relevant to industrial or commercial sectors
- Experience in a sales or business development role within a technical environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specs, or schematics
- Confident communicator with strong problem-solving and consultative sales skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple client relationships and technical sales processes
