A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Technical Project Manager– Med Device (HARDWARE/SOFTWARE) in San Diego, CA.
The Project Manager would be working for a Fortune 500 medical technology company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40 hours per week.
Technical Project Manager– Med Device (HARDWARE/SOFTWARE) Compensation
• The pay for this position is $48.22 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Technical Project Manager– Med Device (HARDWARE/SOFTWARE) Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, standard business hours
• Onsite position located at 10020 Pacific Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92121
Technical Project Manager– Med Device (HARDWARE/SOFTWARE) Responsibilities
• Lead medium to large-scale global product release programs that include hardware and software components
• Ensure on-time delivery of complex electromechanical/software systems through phase-gate process (GPDS)
• Develop and manage detailed program plans, risk registers, and compliance milestones
• Drive cross-functional coordination with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Compliance Engineering
• Provide coaching and leadership to Core Team members and ensure alignment with functional stakeholders
• Communicate program updates to executive leadership and manage Phase Gate reviews
• Ensure product compliance with international standards and QMS requirements
Technical Project Manager– Med Device (HARDWARE/SOFTWARE) Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in product development program management
• 3–5 years of experience delivering complex systems/solutions in a regulated environment
• Experience in medical technology or similarly regulated industry (required)
• Proven leadership of cross-functional hardware/software teams
• Strong knowledge of compliance processes, product lifecycle, and risk mitigation
• High-level communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Technical Project Manager– Med Device (HARDWARE/SOFTWARE) Qualifications
• MBA or MS degree
• Experience with electromechanical systems and software integration
• Familiarity with international launch and regulatory processes
