Technical Project Manager in IP1
Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and technically minded Project Manager to join a growing business. This is a varied role, combining office-based project management with regular customer-site visits. You’ll coordinate engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and clients, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities * Manage projects from handover through to completion. * Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets and resources. * Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders. * Visit customer sites to oversee installations and project progress. * Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout each project. * Review project specifications, drawings and technical documentation. * Monitor costs, timescales, quality and project risks. * Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule. * Coordinate with procurement to ensure equipment and materials are available when required. * Ensure projects meet company, health and safety and industry standards. * Lead progress meetings and provide regular project updates. * Maintain accurate project records and handover documentation. Skills & Experience * Previous experience in project management, project coordination or a technical role. * Good understanding of technical systems, ideally within engineering, electrical, electronic or IT settings. * Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. * Comfortable managing budgets, schedules, resources and project documentation. * Able to work independently, make decisions and take ownership of projects. * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. * Good understanding of health and safety requirements. * Full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel to customer sites when required.
