Job Description

Technical Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (2–3 days/week in office, remote considered)

Salary: £70,000 (flexible for exceptional candidates)

Industry: Software / SaaS / Networking Solutions

About the Company

We’re a profitable, founder-led scale-up building cutting-edge networking and load balancing solutions used by enterprises worldwide. Our products are trusted by critical organisations in healthcare, finance, government, and beyond – designed for performance, reliability, and simplicity.

This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal moment as we prepare to launch our next- platform – a rearchitected SaaS solution built on 20+ microservices – alongside a refreshed customer portal. The engineering team is 14-strong and split into focused squads across front-end, back-end, SaaS, QA, DevOps, and more.

We operate a hybrid working model, with most of the engineering team in office 2–3 days per week.

The Role

We're hiring a Technical Project Manager to lead delivery across multiple fast-moving engineering streams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, momentum, and collaboration – someone who lives and breathes Agile project delivery.

You’ll work across four key platforms:

  • A legacy load balancer product
  • A next-gen load balancer (entering private beta soon)
  • A SaaS platform powered by 20+ microservices
  • The company website and customer-facing front end

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day Agile delivery across the engineering teams
  • Run sprint planning, stand-ups, and retros using Linear (or Jira)
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to scope and prioritise work
  • Track progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices and team collaboration
  • Understand technical constraints well enough to unblock dependencies

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • Solid experience as a Technical PM in a fast-paced software/product environment
  • Strong command of Agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Tools: Linear, Jira, or similar
  • Enough technical fluency to speak confidently with engineers (e.g. microservices, SaaS, load balancing)
  • PRINCE2 or other formal PM frameworks – nice to have
  • Strong communicator, detail-oriented, and results-driven
