Job DescriptionYour Responsibilities

As a Technical Project Engineer for Regulatory Change Management, you will play a crucial role in the evaluation and supervision of technical modifications within the project for the storage of radioactive waste at the Konrad site. Your main focus will be to ensure that all planned operational measures and technical changes comply with the stringent requirements of nuclear, construction, and environmental law, while supporting communication with authorities and expert reviewers.

  • Independently reviewing and assessing technical planning documents and application materials, considering the current approval status
  • Developing detailed technical assessments and preparing comprehensive statements regarding change-related issues
  • Managing nuclear regulatory change procedures, including thorough documentation of approval-relevant aspects
  • Coordinating closely with licensing and supervisory authorities as well as external experts
  • Verifying planned operational measures for compliance with the approved application framework
  • Preparing documentation to ensure adherence to ancillary conditions and actively participating in internal coordination processes

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in engineering, environmental technology, natural sciences, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of nuclear, construction, and environmental legislation, with practical experience collaborating with authorities and experts
  • Strong ability to analyze complex technical issues precisely and present them clearly
  • Proficient use of MS Office applications and common information systems
  • Driving license class B
  • High degree of self-initiative, teamwork skills, and resilience
