We are seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to lead the selection, installation, and validation of pharmaceutical equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards. This role involves managing projects, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational excellence across manufacturing systems.

Description
Key responsibilities:
Manage production and engineering calibration systems and processes.
Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operation of equipment.
Lead and support the introduction and validation of new equipment.
Provide machine-specific training and develop SOPs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Manage contractors and project budgets.
Conduct PUWER and safety assessments, and maintain compliance with SOPs.
Act as a subject matter expert in projects and investigations.
Profile
The successful candidate:
Holds a recognised qualification in Science or Engineering.
Has 5-10 years' experience in a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment.
Demonstrates strong understanding of engineering principles and validation processes.
Possesses excellent technical writing and communication skills.
Experience in contractor management and health & safety practices is desirable.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage projects and budgets effectively.
Willing to undertake a recognised Health and Safety qualification if not already held.
