Technical Manager

Overview



A Technical Manager role at a growing food process supplying chilled and frozen products to top UK retailers and foodservice clients. This role is perfect for someone with a hands-on approach to all elements Technical, looking to take on a wealth of responsibility and be rewarded with the scope for further growth.



The Role



As Technical Manager, you will:

Maintain a robust and validated HACCP system



*



Manage Technical Audits and Visits



*



Keep up to date with Customer Procedures, Policies and Information



*



Travel to Suppliers, Customers or third-party storage areas when required



*



Work closely with and deputise for the Head of Technical



*



Play a role in the running of NPD projects



The Candidate



The successful Technical Manager will have:

In-depth knowledge of HACCP, food safety legislation, and BRCGS standards



*



Familiarity with major UK retailer codes of practice and technical expectations



*



Strong leadership skills



*



Confidence in representing the business during audits and customer visits



*



Excellent attention to detail and communication skills



*



A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
