Scantec have partnered with a client who specialize in containers for the transportation and storage of petroleum and fuel who are looking for a Technical Manager to provide technical direction and continue to develop the offerings of a small, specialized engineering team.



This is an opportunity for the right person to build out a Technical Engineering team and to scale as the business continues to grow.



The technical manager will be responsible for:



Work cross-collaboratively between Engineering and Sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met

Lead problem solving and of new ideas

Deliver Projects on time and on budget

Act as technical point of contact for suppliers

Lead improvement of company systems as the company continues to grow

Implement a maintenance program for the current company inventory

Manage supplier relationships

The Ideal candidate will have:



~10 years Engineering experience

Construction experience (Asphalt and/or bitumen )

Engineering degree, qualification or equivalent experience

Experience in customer facing role

Experience with Solidworks
