Job Description

Position: Technical Maintenance Supervisor\nLocation: Manchester\nType: Permanent\nSalary: £43,000 Mon -Fri 37.5 hours per week days\nWe are recruiting for a Technical Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for the planning of work and the co-ordination of directly employed labour/sub-contractors at a large facility in the Manchester area. Ensuring all maintenance, repairs and ongoing condition of building services, associated systems, plant, and equipment are to a standard. The role is a permanent position paying circa £43,000 basic.

Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week.\n\nMaintenance Supervisor description:\n• Act as a lead directly responsible for Maintenance Team performance.\n• Provide leadership and motivation to the Maintenance Team in delivering the requirements of the service.\n• Work in accordance with the requirements of statute, technical guidance and codes of practice.\n• Carry out duties in accordance with safe working practices\n• Ensure the electrical and mechanical team receive all necessary training specific to roles, regulations, guidance and policy so they can fulfil their duties\n• Manage and supervise responsive and planned maintenance of plant, equipment through directly employed labour and external contractors.\n• Participate in the implementation of permit to work systems.\n• Helpdesk and CAFM system to manage the issuing and closing out of reactive and preventative maintenance tasks required\n• Review RAMS specific to role and AP duties\n• Ensure the maintenance team carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections and commissioning tests in accordance with Procedures and schedules.\n\nRequirements:\nMust have completed a recognised and accredited Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship\nMust have supervisory experience on large, complex sites\nMust have managed direct employed labour and contractors to deliver services\nMust have a strong knowledge of statutory regulations specific to the role\nMust have experience of managing PPM and Reactive maintenance on a large complex site\nSound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.\nPPM & Reactive Work\nAble to contribute on occasion with hands-on duties\nExperience in the operation of CAFM systems\n\nIf you are interested then please click the APPLY button now\nPRS are a leading specialist recruitment and search & selection consultancy within the Building Services, FM and Support Sectors.\nPlease note if you have not heard from us within 5 days, then your application has not been successful.\nPRS is an equal opportunities employer
